The future of transportation has arrived. Our partner, Axiomtek, has launched its tBOX110 fanless embedded system, an EN 45545-2 and EN 50155-certified device, a comprehensive transportation solution for in-vehicle and railway applications.
The tBOX110 fanless embedded system has low power consumption and heavy-duty construction to withstand challenging operational conditions. It accommodates varying voltage demands, effortlessly adapting to different environments. It supports 12/24VDC typical automotive power input with smart ignition or 24 to 110VDC for railway use and a wide range 9 to 36VDC power input for general purposes.
Powered by an Intel Atom® processor, the tBOX110 fanless embedded system has an operating temperature range of -40℃ to +70℃ and 3Grms vibration resistance. Its comprehensive verification and certification provide a more sustainable and safer solution for transportation applications.

Seamless Connectivity Across Transportation Applications
The tBOX110 fanless embedded system offers rich I/O interfaces to ensure seamless connectivity and performance across transportation applications. For in-vehicle applications, it features two RS-232/422/485 with shield grounding, two isolated CANBus with SocketCAN, two RJ-45 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports (Intel® I210-IT) and one DB9 8-bit programmable DIO.
For railway applications, it offers four isolated RS-232/422/485 with shield grounding, two M12 A-coded 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports (Intel® I210-IT), two M12 X-coded 10/100/1000/10000 Mbps Ethernet ports (Intel® I210-IT) and one isolated 4-in/4-out DIO (terminal block). Two HDMI 1.4b with keylock, two USB 3.0, one reset button, one power button, one remote switch and four antenna openings are available. Furthermore, the tBOX110 fanless embedded system is compatible with Windows® 10 64-bit and Ubuntu 20.04.
The DIN-rail and wall-mountable tBOX110 fanless embedded system measures 164 x 128 x 44 mm and weighs 1.0kg. The compact size ensures it fits in various space-constrained environments. It has one DDR3L-1866 SO-DIMM for up to 8GB of system memory, one internal 2.5” SATA drive and one mSATA for extra storage needs.
There are two full-size Rev.1.2 PCI Express Mini Card slots – one USB/PCIe with external SIM socket and one mSATA/USB/PCIe with external SIM socket – for high integration. The tBOX110 fanless embedded system’s Smart Ignition power control enables the scheduling of power on/off to protect vehicle batteries from unstable voltages and supports different power modes.
