Purpose-built for multiple applications, the fanless Neu-X300 provides superior processing power and supports three 4K HDMI signals. In the scenario outlined above, the Neu-X300 was used to create video walls, interactive signage counters and information kiosks throughout the manufacturer’s showrooms.
Software integrations extended the embe
dded player’s capabilities beyond mass-audience signage to fully customised displays. It utilised audience measurement to detect customer reactions and gauge interest in the content, while RFID sensors were used to identify the objects that customers gravitated towards to show their responsiveness to content.
Furthermore, the fanless Neu-X300 is space-efficient, allowing the client to deliver powerful images and advertisements without the clutter of industrial-sized computers.
Harnessing Data from the Production Line
The XPPC10-100 led to an increase in the manufacturer’s production accuracy and traceability. I/O connections required for industrial environments such as the client’s assembly lines, enabled real-time data collection.
For example, barcode scanners and
ERP/MES systems were linked via USB and LAN ports, providing data transmission and production line management. The XPPC10-100’s IP65-rated front panel is also protected against dust or water, ensuring the client did not have to replace units due to accidental damage.
