Spotlight On: Axiomtek’s UST510-52B-FL – The All-in-One In-Vehicle PC with Enhanced SATA Drives and RAID Support
Our partner, Axiomtek, has released an updated version of its E-Mark-certified in-vehicle embedded system UST510-52B-FL that now supports four swappable 2.5-inch SATA drives with Intel® RAID 0/1/5/10 for more secure data storage and transmission. This highly anticipated update is ideal for in-vehicle applications, including NVR, onboard security surveillance, vehicle controls, fleet monitoring and onboard passenger infotainment systems.
The all-in-one in-vehicle box PC can operate under extreme temperatures, ranging from -40℃ to +70℃, and vibration of up to 3 Grms. It offers eight/sixteen PoE ports with M12/RJ-45 connectors and supports remote PoE management software, minimising the overall NVR and security surveillance deployment efforts and improving monitoring efficiency.
Secure, Reliable Performance
The Axiomtek E-Mark transportation embedded system UST510-52B-FL features a user-friendly design, secure protection functions, rugged reliability and excellent system performance. The resilient embedded system offers up to four SATA drives with software RAID 0/1/5/10 support for better fault tolerance and performance. It’s the ideal solution for in-vehicle mission-critical applications with large capacity and fast database requirements.
The fanless system offers two I/O windows for flexible extensions to meet different customisation requirements. In addition, the E-Mark transportation embedded system UST510-52B-FL features AX PoE Manager Software, enabling operators to monitor the status of each PoE port on-site without needing to reboot the system. It also provides an overview of the entire system status from the information chart.
Smart Ignition helps avoid OS crashes or data loss. It also contributes to vehicle battery protection and provides long-life services. The E-Mark transportation embedded system UST510-52B-FL is ready for in-vehicle applications, so customers don’t need to worry about additional costs or verification and certification.

Extra Expansion and Additional Storage
The E-Mark transportation embedded system UST510-52B-FL has two 260-pin DDR4-2666 SO-DIMM slots for up to 64GB of non-ECC/ECC memory. For extra expansion, the fanless embedded system offers one full-size PCIe Mini Card slot with supporting mSATA/USB/PCIe and one half-size PCIe Mini Card slot with supporting mSATA/USB. It has one M.2 Key E 2230 for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules and one M.2 Key B 3050/3042 for 4G LTE. There are also two external accessible SIM card slots for easy access to the network.
For additional storage, it features two swappable 2.5-inch SATA drives with Intel® RAID 0/1/5/10, and two mSATA are also available. Two HDMI and VGA ports support three surveillance monitors to provide drivers and commuters with timely and accurate on-road and traffic-related information.
Additionally, the E-Mark transportation embedded system UST510-52B-FL adopts rich I/O interfaces, including eight or sixteen GbE PoE, four USB 3.0, two RS-232/422/485, one isolated 6-in/2-out DIO, one VGA, two HDMI, one audio (Mic-in/Line-out) and four antenna openings for WLAN and WWAN usage. Two flexible I/O windows for CANBus, LAN, DIO and audio modules are available for various applications in a single system. The E-Mark transportation embedded system UST510-52B-FL supports Windows® 11, Windows® 10 and Linux. It also features Trusted Platform Module 2.0 (TPM 2.0), ensuring critical information security.
The E-Mark transportation embedded system UST510-52B-FL is powered by the LGA 1151 Intel® Xeon®, 9th/8th Gen Intel® Core™ i7/i5/i3, Celeron® or Pentium® processor with up to 65W TDP amd features the Intel® C246 Chipset. By switching the power mode, the user-friendly in-vehicle fanless box PC features 12 and 24VDC typical automotive power input with Smart Ignition or wide-range 9 to 36V DC power input for general purposes.
