September 2019 - Distec, the specialist provider of hybrid technology solutions for medical, retail and industrial organisations, is set to showcase an array of revolutionary equipment at HETT19, the UK’s leading healthcare technology and digital health event.
HETT19 will take place on 1-2 October at ExCel London. Over 3,000 healthcare technology and digital health leaders will be present, seeking solutions to the sector’s most pressing problems, and working towards a more collaborative technology ecosystem. In line with this drive to collaboration, Distec will be exhibiting in partnership with Elo Touch Solutions on stand F6, demonstrating how the sector can simplify integration between different hardware and software, driving process efficiencies and ultimately enhancing patient care.
Distec will be exhibiting a range of interactive kiosks and mobile medical carts that support a variety of applications including charting and EMR, medication dispensing and nursing education, as well as high-performing medical grade computers built to withstand the rugged demands of healthcare setting along with medical grade touchscreen monitors.
The companies will be demonstrating how Elo touchscreen technologies can be integrated into customisable kiosks, self-check-in, nurse stations, medical carts, wayfinding and pharmacy environments. In turn, this enables the smoother passage of visitors and staff around healthcare environments, faster and more secure access to medical records whether at bedsides or in pharmacies, and more functional workstations for medical practitioners.
From an ROI perspective, Distec and Elo Touch Solutions focus performance and longevity/lifespan of the solutions not just the initial costs, while focusing on the drive towards remote monitoring and paperless 2020 initiative, improved security of data and ultimately, enhanced patient care.
Noel Sheppard, Director at Distec Ltd said: “HETT is precisely what the sector needs as it seeks to shake off the restrictions and inefficiencies of paperless processes and disparate data sources. We are sure the event will be a resounding success for both the industry and our organisation.”
